Why are my labels wrinkling on the bottle?

How do I stop bubbles from forming under the label?

Bubbles occur when the label is applied with uneven pressure or if the bottle surface is uneven. Ensure your application roller is clean and applying firm, consistent pressure. For glass bottles, check for seams or imperfections in the glass that might be trapping air.

My labels are applying crooked (skewing). How do I fix it?

Skewing usually happens when the label roll is not feeding straight or the bottle is moving during application. 1) Ensure the label roll guides are tight against the roll so it can't wobble. 2) Check that the 'bottle stop' is set correctly so the container cannot drift left or right while spinning.

Why is the label web breaking or tearing?

If the backing paper (liner) is tearing, your tension might be too high, or the 'die cut' on the label was made too deep (cutting into the liner). Try loosening the tension on the supply spool. If it persists, inspect your label roll for deep die cuts.
